This was originally written as a contest entry for classical harpist, composer, YouTuber extraordinaire, and chick patty enthusiast, Emily Hopkins.

The contest consisted of a free sample of Emily playing her harp, which she then issued it to her fans with the challenge of using it to create an original composition. The prize being naming a crab. No, really.

Listening to the material Emily had given out, I was struck by how it reminded me of Japanese composers like Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Joe Hisiashi. Particularly Hisaishi's work on Studio Ghibli soundtracks. So with that in mind, I took that as my jumping off point. A heart swelling Studio Ghibli epic, and based it on one of Ghibli's great central themes running throughout it's work - nature

Shrinrin-Yoku refers to the practice of "forest bathing". Taking time in your day to go out into nature and absorb the natural world you. This could involve walking, wild swimming, or even simply laying down on the forest floor. It's long practiced form of therapy and I think it suits the end result.
